Sunday Bulletin (For All Parishes)

Dear friends: I am once again asking you to join in a novena for our upcoming Rachel's Vineyard Retreat to be held Wednesday, May 24 to Friday, May 26. I will be beginning the novena on May 15th.   Rachel's Vineyard Retreats are not only for those who have directly had an abortion, or were a father to such a child, they are for anyone effected such as grandparents, friends, health care workers, crisis pregnancy line workers, siblings. Recently the international Rachel's Vineyard office ran a campaign called "Shockwaves of Abortion" because of the far reaching effects. Coming to a Rachel's Vineyard Retreat because of someone else's abortion does not imply that you did anything wrong, perhaps you didn't even know until it was too late, but what it does mean is that you are grieving, or experienced trauma or loss because of that event. At our last team training with Dr. Theresa Burke in Cache Creek (the founder) she emphasized to us that Rachel's Vineyard Retreats can also help with those suffer from any unresolved pregnancy loss grief. Perhaps this is a miscarriage or stillborn child. What is in common is grief and healing is available.

It is definitely not too late for anyone to sign up for this upcoming retreat. Everything is confidential and we are here to help.

Please pray for all those God is calling to healing that they may have the courage to say yes to His call. It can be a very scary thing to do.

Please pray also for our team. May we nurture these precious children of God all for His glory.   Please feel free to share this message.   Thank you for your prayers.   God bless, Nancy
