Many couples continue to struggle in a marriage, but are not willing to give up on each other.   There is hope.  Retrouvaille is a program designed to help struggling marriages regain their health. It helps a husband and a wife rediscover or re-awaken the love, trust and commitment that originally brought them together. The program is highly successful in saving hurting marriages, even bringing reconciliation to couples who have already separated or divorced.  Retrouvaille is a peer ministry of volunteer couples that can help you learn the tools of healthy communication, build intimacy and heal, just as they have done in their own marriages. THE FOURTH DEGREE: Each ‘degree’ of the Knights of Columbus is associated with a particular virtue, the fourth being “Patriotism”. Consequently, the 4th Degree is often known as the ‘The Patriotic Degree’. The 4th Degree was established in New York on 22 February, 1900. On June 28th, 2017, Bishop Gary of Victoria and two of his priests received the honours of the 4th Degree. On November 25th, our Bishop Joseph will become a member of the 4th Degree. I would encourage all 3rd Degree members in good standing to seriously consider becoming a part of the visible arm of the Church. If you are seeking more information, please contact Lawrence Beaton, Faithful Navigator at beatonlawrence47@gmail.com or any 4th Degree member from Assembly 0033 that you may know.
