One project was to initiate a Lay Enrichment Program for men and women in the Diocese who recognize their baptismal call to share in the salvific mission of the Church through a life of service to all people. The sessions are held on the first weekend of the month (October to May) at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Shrine and Centre in Cache Creek beginning Friday evening and ending Sunday after lunch.
Everyone, regardless of educational background, may apply. All that is required is a love for God and the Church and a desire to learn and to serve others. The cost of the program is shared by the participants, the parish that sponsors them, and the Diocese through Faith in Action.
