Lay Enrichment PROGRAM

Immaculate Heart of Mary Shrine and Centre in Cache Creek opens many possibilities for spiritual growth in the Diocese. One project was to initiate a Lay Enrichment Program  for men and women in the Diocese who recognize their baptismal call to share in the salvific mission of the Church through a life of service to all people.

The program is intended to offer our lay people a chance to:

  1. study their faith in the areas of scripture, theology, morality, liturgy, social justice and spirituality;
  2. help one's growth in prayer, spirituality and a sense of Christian community;
  3. help acquire general and specific skills necessary for the various ministries in the church; and
  4. help develop self-confidence, a deep personal faith and the ability to relate to others.
