World Day for Grandparents and the Elderly - Sunday, 27 July 2025

World Day for Grandparents and the Elderly (WDGE) 2025 will be celebrated on Sunday, July 27, 2025, close to the Feast of Saints Anne and Joachim, grandparents of Jesus (July 26). The theme is “Blessed are those who have not lost hope.” (cf. Sirach 14:2).

Let us take this opportunity to uplift grandparents and the elderly, cherishing them as blessings in our faith community!
